It would appear that Eva Longoria doesn’t harbor much ill will toward ex-husband Tony Parker for cheating on her, as she tweeted the following after the Spurs Game 1 victory over the Heat:

Naturally that tweet garnered some reactions, but it was the following tweet by Dick Vitale that had twitter in tears:

This man knows no boundaries. Poor Eva was just trying to show that she still cared for the man she once called her soulmate, only for Dickie V to emerge from the ashes with a full-fledged blow on her self-esteem.

Here are the new Adidas tournament jerseys, and they are awful.

Nothing out of the ordinary on the top half. I would go as far as to say the upper half of the jerseys look pretty nice. Then comes the shorts, which look like they were washed with bleach five times over.

The only valid reason for any team that agrees to wear these things would be that they hope to hypnotize the other team, as that can be the only purpose that the shorts serve.

Canadian superstar high school basketball player Andrew Wiggins has been regarded by some as the Canadian Jordan, and is basically a lock to be the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Sports Illustrated writer Pete Thamel wrote a degrading article relating to Wiggins and his Canadian roots, and here’s what Rob Fulford, Wiggins’ coach, had to say about his reaction and following performance.

“He was 100 percent pissed at the SI article degrading former players from Canada, his family and him personally. I told him earlier today that people would want to see how he responded to his first taste of negative reporting. I challenged him to get 50 and told his teammates he was going for 50. He had 57 and was upset that I took him out before he got to 60. Point proven.”

Wiggins finished the game 24-28 from the field along with 13 rebounds and 4 blocks to go with the 57 points. Florida State and Kentucky are the reported favorites to land his services in college.

College basketball has a new most polarizing player this season, and his name is Marshall Henderson.

The Ole Miss junior is rambunctious and disrespectful to everyone around him, and that includes the officials and his own fanbase.

In case you’re wondering, yes, this headline is real. Back in high school Henderson was busted and sentenced to 25 days in jail for attempting to buy $800 worth of marijuana with counterfeit money.

I imagine he reacted kind of like he did when missing this free throw:

He apparently couldn’t stand his dad being his high school coach, and moved out of his parents’ house during high school.

He jacks up nearly eleven threes per game at a 36% clip. I think the best place for him is Grinnell College, home of the scoring fraud Jack Taylor.

Walk-ons in college basketball are often part of the viewer’s entertainment experience. It’s almost expected of them to go crazy after every basket or blown call by an official.

ESPN personality Fran Fraschilla happens to have a son who is currently a walk-on at the University of Oklahoma, and he raises the bar for the energy level of walk-ons across the country.

Here is James Fraschilla, the air guitarist to the far left, along with three other OU players/aficionados after a transition three pointer by Romero Osby against Texas.

This should be performed by all walk-ons in college basketball after every made three pointer.

Last night marked an important opportunity for Florida State Seminoles basketball, as the top recruit from the class of 2013 was on campus for the team’s matchup against rival Florida.

Basketball hardly had anything to do with the internet being whipped up in a frenzy over Wiggins’ visit, however, as a medley of lovely FSU coeds ensured that potentially the biggest recruit in the school’s history enjoyed himself.

Many pictures surfaced online of the women of Florida State wooing Wiggins with signs and clothing that accentuated every warm-blooded male’s interest, so naturally one would make the assumption that Wiggins was given the opportunity to indulge himself in more than just conversation.

Why did these girls go all out? They were instructed to do so by various fraternities within the school. According to Laney Center, an FSU coed herself, “Fraternities have been telling us ‘Now is our time.’”

She would go on to say that “Everyone has been telling girls here it’s time to put out for the best recruit in the nation.”

Other instances of recruits getting an overwhelming amount of attention from the opposite sex have been noted before, but nothing like this. Kentucky has a high standard to live up to when Wiggins comes to town.

Spose’s NCAA Tournament bracket revealed

Our good friend Spose was kind enough to reveal to us his bracket for the NCAA Tournament this year, where he is currently 12/13 in picks following UConn’s loss.

However, the surprise lies with his predicted national champion, where he has seven seed Notre Dame beating Kansas. His reasoning makes more sense, though.

“I watch like literally 5 college games a year & 2 of the games I watched were ND beating big teams, hence my pick.”

Here’s his full bracket, which also features six seed Cincinnati in the Final Four.

Gotta get the kids involved in sports early

Last week Tom Coughlin was surprised by the Super Bowl-crashing Flavor Flav, and Flav isn’t done spreading the love just yet.

He made himself at home in the UNLV student section to watch the game against fellow ranked team San Diego State, a contest UNLV won 65-62.

Former UNLV football player Ray Cheetany took on the task of training the former rapper, which you can see in the video below.

I would say Flav should stick to catch phrases, but the man’s over fifty years old so he gets a pass.
