Hold on Kidz Bop, before you accept the award of greatest (and only) hit songs turned trash children’s album, Dwight Howard and his debut record have a case to make.

The NBA superstar decided to add on to his many titles already in place such as multiple-DPOY, Olympic Gold Medalist and humanitarian, labeling himself as a recording artist with the release of his first music album.

Shoot For The Stars features classic hits such as “All Star,” “U Can’t Touch This,” and “Whoomp There It Is.” It drops October 25, but naturally you can preorder the album and preview each song prior to its release.

If the children’s choir in the background of nearly every song doesn’t sell the sincerity of this album, it’s up to the cover art and that iconic gaping smile to sell records.
