Rampage follows up the A-Team with a Funny or Die exclusive, in which he displays his bodyguard skills, or lack thereof.
The mixed martial arts fighter has solid comedic timing. Now let’s see Brock Lesnar give the bodyguard gig a shot. Watch the video after the jump. View full article »
As you may know MMA?fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson starred in the big-screen adaption of?The A-Team this summer, although it was to the dismay of rapper “The Game.”
Both tried out for the role of B.A. Baracus, formerly played by Mr. T, and Rampage was selected. Game didn’t take to this kindly, and had a few words of constructive criticism for the wrestler.
“He couldn’t f*** with me. No disrespect to Rampage, but my dude Rashad Evans whupped that a**,” Game said. “When he had that UFC fight against Rashad Evans and he lost, I felt like that was me [winning]. ‘Don’t you know n****? I play Mr. T better than you! I pity the fool! I went in there [the audition] and I killed the Mr. T role on my screen test.”
Of course being an aggressive person by nature and profession, Jackson retaliated. “He totally disrespected me and stuff. So I told The Game: ‘Look here Game, we could have an act off where you play the role of B.A.; then we can have a rap off where you rap and I rap; then let’s get in the cage and have a sparring match, let’s see who’ll win.’ I told the Game that and he shut up talking. No response, it’s like crickets for real.”
This could get interesting, or it could die down within the next couple of days as 99% of these disputes usually do. Either way A-Team has grossed over $76 million to date, so I doubt the producers have any regrets about their decision.
UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson hasn’t been successful in the fighting business lately, but luckily he has another gig that’s working out for him nicely.
The fighter co-stars in the movie “The A-Team” which has been well-received by the public, drawing a rating of 7.4 based on upwards of 20,000 votes on IMDB.com.
“The A-Team” hit theaters on June 11, in the States at least. As to explain why they were in?Madrid promoting the movie, I’m guessing it had a later release date in Spain.
Rampage (far right) looks a little out of it in this scene, but I’m sure he did a somewhat decent job in the movie. His mohawk does contrast nicely with the explosion in the background, so he’s got that going for him.
